With more than a century and a quarter in heritage, Bernardo Winery has some of the most unique storage opportunities available. With 3 separate cellar’s, each utilizing different levels of technology, wine stored in the 3 different areas each maintain their own unique characteristics obtained during the maturing process.
Wine at Bernardo will be stored from 6 months, up to 5 years, with different combinations of bottle, barrel and tank aging and maturation. Stainless steel tanks are utilized for the white varietals made on the property, and american oak, stainless steel and on a very rare occasion, red wood are used for red maturation. Aging in the bottles is done either in our storage building at a controlled climate or in our Barrel Room stacked bottle-to-bottle like how they did it centuries ago.
With a bottling line, Bernardo is able to bottle wine in an efficient manner, which protects quality. How

ever, some wines are still hand bottled and corked the old fashion way which mitigates the violent nature of a modern bottling machine.
