Meet the Artist:
Ren Daniels~
A local artist who from a very early age, learned to draw, paint and enjoy creative expressions. I spent many of my early years on a ladder drawing on my school’s blackboards, windows and walls. Creative endeavors are my life’s comforts. As a now retired realtor I utilize my time drawing, painting, listening to music, dancing, cooking, sewing and enjoying my newest venture, learning to play the piano.
In 1995 after raising three children (all whom became artists by profession), I begin studying the medium I remembered to be the most exciting, Watercolor! After eight years of instructions, workshops and classes with many well-known watercolorist and artist, I began to enter my paintings and win awards in exhibits and shows. In spite of my attachments to most of my paintings many of my originals have sold. Watercolor is my first love but I enjoy painting in oil and acrylics as well.
My goal is to put together a collection of paintings representing all of the things I feel passionate about, such as enchanting vineyards, enticing wine, passionate dancers, aromatic roses, beautiful places and inviting doors and windows. “Painting things I love helps me paint from my heart and soul, keeps me excited and motivated.
I have recently completed and published a coffee table book showing many of my paintings, inspirational quotations and favorite Louisiana family recipes.
I served as President of the Rancho Bernardo Art Association and resided on the board for over 10 years, serving as Editor, 1st VP Program Chairman, and ultimately President. I’m currently a member of Bernardo Art Coalition.
My art can be found in private collection through-out the country and can be viewed online at:
